Need a little help putting together a fool-proof collection of spring bloomers? I’ve done just that for you. My collection of spring blooming bulbs are individual show-stoppers but look amazing together as well. So whether you need to fill an empty bed at the front of your home, or lots of spots around the yard, this 68 piece collection is for you!
Carson's Spring Spectacular Collection includes:
8 'Ice Follies' Daffodils
Every garden needs a daffodil and 'Ice Follies' is one of my favourite. Subtle yellow cup surrounded by white petals look great, but the real reason I love this flower is its fragrance! It's the perfect spring scent that someone needs to bottle!
6 Allium 'Purple Sensation'
These tall purple flowers are the spring equivalent of fireworks in the garden. Place them to the back of your bed and watch the colours explode! I also really like Alliums in all of my gardens because the squirrels leave them alone!
8 'Purple Prince' Tulips
I use this tulip not only because of the beautiful colour, but also because of its thick stems which helps make Purple Prince prefect for any windy spots or for cutting and bringing indoors.
40 Mixed Snow Crocus
Nothing signifies the end of a long winter better than a flush of crocus. Plants these gems at the front of your flower beds so that you can see them as soon as the snow starts to melt.
6 'Pretty Princess' Tulips
Pink Tulips with purple flames, these are one of my favourites not just for the great colour combination, but because they hold their blooms from April till the end of May.
