This head-turning Coreopsis blooms from early to late summer and rewards you with the most amazingly bright-coloured blooms.
'Cosmic Eye' actually thrives in poor, sandy or rocky soils with good drainage. It can tolerate heat, humidity and drought. If you take the time to deadhead spent flowers you'll not only encourage additional blooms but you will also prevent any unwanted self-seeding. If the plant becomes unkempt it can be cut back hard in summer. To maintain its robustness 'Cosmic Eye' should be divided every 2-3 years.
