This double-petalled hybrid is a sunny addition to the autumn garden. It is particularly attractive to pollinators.
'Double Trouble' is easy to grow in medium to wet soils in full sun. It prefers rich, moist soils and will not do well in dry soil so be sure to keep it well-watered. The powder of the dried disk flowers and leaves of this species have been used as snuff in the past, thus giving rise to the common name of sneezeweed.
