2017 Hosta of the Year!
'Brother Stefan' boasts large, corrugated leaves that are slug resistant. Although slow to mature this beautifully-coloured hosta is worth the wait. The hosta's white flowers will appear in early summer. Named by hybridizer Olga Petryszyn for her brother, Stefan, on his 50th birthday. Hostas thrive in all soils from pure clay to boggy ground and they usually get bigger every year. Their dense foliage crowds out most garden weeds.
They make a wonderful contrast when planted with small-leaved plants and most certainly add texture to the landscape. Try them in containers: you won't be disappointed!
