10 Chionodoxa forbesii ~ Glory of the Snow

Sometimes called ‘Glory of the Snow’ because it blooms so early, this small blue star flower with the white centre naturalizes well and will increase freely over the years. Chionodoxa's look best grouped together under trees, in front of shrubs or in a rock garden setting. Once planted, they are virtually care free and will naturalize easily in your garden. Although they are somewhat short stemmed, they also look lovely in cut flower arrangements.
