Pretty in pink! This super-bloomer offers coral-coloured, double blooms with crimped edges. An excellent rebloomer and fragrant too.
Daylilies are the darlings of the summer flower garden. Not only are they one of the easiest flowering plants to grow but they produce literally hundreds of blooms all summer long and for many years to come. Their botanical name, Hemerocallis, means ‘beauty for a day’ referring to the fact that individual blossoms usually last a day, but not to worry, each plant will continue to produce hundreds of flowers day after day all summer long and well into the fall season.
Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils and being planted near pavement that is salted in winter. Extremely hardy and maintenance-free, these gorgeous flowering plants will attract butterflies and hummingbirds while at the same time choking out weeds and creating cascading mounds of stunning blossoms.
