'Fiona Coghill' is one of Pam's Faves this season...this is what she has to say:

These gorgeous blooms have it all. They are long-blooming, easy to grow, disease, rabbit and deer resistant, drought tolerant and attract butterflies. ‘Fiona Coghill’ has got it going on! If you’re looking for ‘the one’ perennial that ticks most boxes...this is it.

This Shasta Daisy has very showy, shaggy-looking blooms of pure white with sunny yellow centres. This cultivar was originally introduced in the 1960s in Kilmacolm, Ayrshire by Jimmy Whittock who named it after his daughter. It fell out of circulation for a while but has now been reintroduced - and boy are we glad! 'Fiona Coghill' is easily grown in dry to medium, well-drained soils in full sun. They do require good drainage and deadheading spent flower heads will help to promote additional blooms. Divide clumps as needed (every 2-3 years) to maintain vigor.
