Why not go Gnome Hunting this season?

Join the thousands of Gnome-Seekers across Canada who, each season, search for our little, hidden Garden Gnome. This fun tradition began in December 2007 and since then we have officially hidden eight Gnomes over the years. Our Spring 2012 catalogue marks the ninth hiding of the Gnome and given the response we receive each season we’re sure that you too will have a great time rooting him out!

Our little Garden Gnome is hidden within a plant picture and we guarantee you’re going to have fun trying to find him. Get the kids and the grandkids involved because everybody, young and old, loves to hunt the Gnome! Once you’ve found him you’re then eligible to enter our draw for the grand prize.

In fact, this past fall Beverly Turpin from Nanaimo, BC did just that when she found him hidden away in the Iris Tiger Mix  and she won our draw for the $100 Surprise Cut Flower Garden.

To get you started here’s a nice clear picture of what he looks like. 

Get out the magnifying glass ‘cause this little fella may be hard to find.

Keep in mind that we always make him clearly visible...we never blur or alter him in a way that makes him difficult to distinguish. When you see him you'll know you've found him!

Now if you do happen to find him, oh talented  Seeker-of-the-Garden-Gnome, you can then enter your name into our draw to win a $100 Surprise Cut Flower Garden!

Here are the rules:

1. Begin searching our Spring 2012 catalogue or the   

    Botanus website at www.botanus.com for the   

    Garden Gnome. Don’t give up too easily…he’s   

    hiding in a plant picture somewhere!

2. Once you locate the plant he’s hiding in send the

    plant name along with your name, address &   

    telephone number to wendy@botanus.com

    Please use the Subject Line: Garden Gnome Contest. If you    

    prefer, you can call us with your entry: 1-800-672-3413.

3. Once your entry’s been received (and you’ve given us the correct plant name) we’ll

    enter you into our draw to win the $100 Surprise Cut Flower Garden.

4. Entries have to be received by April 15th, 2012 and are limited to Canadian

    residents, 19 years and older only.

5. One entry per household only please!

On April 16th, 2012 we’ll put all the entries into a big garden tub and draw out the winning name. That lucky gardener will receive their $100 Surprise Cut Flower Garden at the perfect time for spring planting.
