Amaryllis Gift Kit

*IMPORTANT NOTE* Amaryllis are shipped mid October 2023 and all orders are shipped complete.  If you live in a cold climate zone (0-4) order your Amaryllis SEPARATELY, otherwise your complete shipment, including other bulbs, will be delayed until mid October 2023.

You don’t need a green thumb to grow and enjoy this lovely Amaryllis! In fact, everything you need to get started is included in this terrific kit.

You'll receive one red flowering Amaryllis bulb, a plastic pot (colour may vary), growing medium and full planting instructions. Wrapped up in a colourful burlap bag it also makes the perfect gift for friends and family. But that's not all - the burlap bag is lined with plastic so you can use it as a decorative cover for your pot too! If you've never tried growing an Amaryllis, it's time to try! This beautiful hybrid, whose scientific name is Hippeastrum, is so easy to grow indoors and the results are spectacular. The amaryllis is ideal for people who have little time or inclination to spend on high-maintenance flowers and plants.

We also highly recommend them for holiday gift giving and for colder climate areas where a bit of indoor colour is welcome during the winter months. During the winter months you'll enjoy an exotic floral crop and each Amaryllis bulb produces one to two stalks with at least four wide-open trumpet-like flowers. You'll love watching the flower stalk shoot upwards with amazing speed and blossom with enormous flowers measuring 8-10 in (20-25 cm). And don't forget: with a few simple steps you can get your Amaryllis to rebloom again next winter!
