Scilla siberica alba is one of Elke's Faves this season...this is what she has to say:
One big reason why I love Scilla siberica alba is because it is white. As you may know, I’m a big fan of white gardens and anything white moves right to the top of my ‘must-have’ list. This cutie is also perfect for containers and small spaces and fills up quite nicely as it is a great naturalizer. Love it!
One of the first flowers to bloom in the early spring, their intense white colour makes them a real standout along borders and in containers.
As the name suggests, these hardy little bloomers can be found on the plains of central Russia. Each plant produces three to four flower stems and is one of the best naturalizing bulbs. Combine it with Chionodoxa's for early blooming colour in your garden.
