Find the Garden Gnome Contest

Join the thousands of Gnome-Seekers across Canada who, each season, search tirelessly for our little, hidden Garden Gnome. It all began way back in December 2007 while we were tucked away in our warm office working tirelessly on the Spring 2008 catalogue when…we decided to have a bit of fun. Perhaps it was the lack of coffee or sunshine but we were suddenly taken by a whim to hide a Garden Gnome in one of our plant pictures. This late night escapade has now turned into the most amusing and well-received contests we have ever had!

Each year we take turns hiding him and this time around we think that Pam has done a stupendous job...and somewhat whimsical if we don’t say so ourselves! He’s in these pages somewhere, hidden within a plant picture, but you’re really going to have to hunt for him. But don’t be discouraged...he’s hiding somewhere and we know that you’ll have a lot of fun looking for him!

In fact, last season Dayna Murr from Quispamsis, NB managed to find him hiding in the Mini Botanical Tulip Mix and won herself our

$100 Surprise Cut Flower Garden.

So to get you started here’s a little hint as to what he looks like. Get out the magnifying glass ‘cause this little fella may be hard to find. Keep in mind that we’ve probably snuggled him in somewhere so not all of his body will be visible ... but the hat will be ... ok we’ve said enough!

Garden Gnome

The Infamous Garden Gnome

(he’s hiding now of course)

Oh...he’s hiding in a plant picture alright. The questions are, though, which one and can you find him?

If you do find him, oh lucky Seeker-of-the-Garden-Gnome, you can then enter your name into our draw to win a

$100 Surprise Cut Flower Garden!

…ooooh! What’s inside? Only the winner will know!

So now…here are the rules:

1. Begin searching our Spring 2010 print catalogue or the Botanus website for the Garden Gnome. Don’t give up too easily… he’s hiding in a plant picture somewhere! HINT: If you’re searching through our web site you can see larger, close-up images of each plant by clicking on the ‘More Details’ link under the small image of each item.

2. Once you locate the plant he’s hiding in send the plant name along with your name, address & telephone number to wendy@botanus.com Please use the Subject Line: Garden Gnome Contest. If you prefer, you can also call us with your entry: 1-800-672-3413.

3. Once your entry has been received (and you’ve given us the correct plant name) we’ll enter you into our draw to receive the $100 Surprise Cut Flower Garden.

4. Entries have to be received by April 16th, 2010 and are limited to Canadian residents, 19 years and older only.

5. One entry per household only please!

On April 17th, 2010 we’ll put all the entries into a big garden tub and draw out the winning name. That lucky gardener will then receive our
$100 Surprise Cut Flower Garden
just in time for spring planting.

Good luck to you all and happy Gnome hunting!
