The British Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has a long-established tradition of recognizing outstanding plants by bestowing its coveted Award of Garden Merit. My Award Winners Collection contains a select few of these amazing 'winners'. Chosen for their outstanding excellence for garden decoration, good constitution and not requiring specialized care or growing conditions, these flower bulbs are most excellent indeed. Here's to a jolly good display next spring!
Award Winners Collection contains:
6 Darwin Hybrid Tulips 'Pink Impression'
With its strong sturdy stems and delightfully coloured pink flowerheads, Pink Impression has made a lasting impression on the gardening world. Once you've grown some Pink Impression you'll understand the fascination!
6 Viridiflora Tulips 'Spring Green'
I adore these tulips and can fully understand why they would be recognized and granted an Award of Garden Merit by the RHS. They look absolutely fantastic in the late spring garden. The Granny Smith Apple colours are fresh and crisp. So very pretty!
6 Large Cupped Narcissi 'High Society'
Rather posh looking, High Society is certainly a Narcissus worth inviting to your next spring tea party. Its name alone promises something swanky and, believe me, those folks at the RHS certainly knew that this Narcissus was special indeed!
6 Double Late Tulips 'Angelique'
I have yet to meet anyone who doesn't appreciate the stunning beauty of Angelique tulips. They are simply smashing. Petal upon petal of soft pink and white coupled with a light fragrance and sturdy cutting stem, it's easy to see why these tulips are winners!
6 Double Narcissi 'Manly'
I just had to include at least one 'Bobby Dazzler' in my collection. Man oh man, Manly fits the bill! Fully double and sporting a dashing, light yellow frock this Narcissus is going to turn a few heads - that's for sure!
