Silvery Pink looks like big fluffy stalks of cotton candy. You can’t eat them but they sure are sweet!
The new Younique Series of Astilbes feature plants that produce an abundance of blooms for 1-2 weeks and earlier than most other varieties. Astilbes are one of those amazing perennial plants that will live for a long time in your garden - given the right conditions. They prefer rich soil and light shade to filtered sun. They, of course, will grow in full shade, but they will not produce as many blooms. Plants must have consistently moist soil especially in sun. If the soil is allowed to dry out, the leaves will develop brown, crispy edges and eventually drop. Plants should be divided in early spring every 3-4 years to maintain vigour.
