This fall flowering beauty produces snow white flowers that naturalize easily and multiply quickly. Plant alongside late blooming Asters for a fabulous fall show.
Colchicums always bring a surprise to fall gardens when their leafless blossoms appear. After the corms are planted in September, their unique life cycle begins with flowers appearing in a few short weeks. The blooms will last a few weeks and then the bulb will enter its dormant phase. In the Spring, foliage will develop and wither away in early summer. Then come fall it will bloom again and bring some much needed, bright colour to the autumn garden! Try planting them among shrubs or in woodland gardens or in areas that need a bit of colour late in the season.
