This pollen-producing Mignon Dahlia is a real treat. The 3" blooms are smaller in size and the colouring is beyond compare.
Mignon Dahlias produce nectar and pollen making them particularly attractive to late season foraging bees and bumblebees. They offer beatiful, single petalled flowers on shorter plants and are ideal in the fronts of garden beds and in containers.
They are a wonderful source of cut flowers and will provide a veritable cornucopia of colourful blooms for your bouquets from mid summer until the first frost. Hardy as they are, Dahlias are susceptible to cold so be careful not to plant them too early and be sure to dig them up after the first frost and store them in a frost-free place.
