Loganberry is one of Elke's Faves this season...this is what she has to say:
I love raspberries and I love blackberries .... so it was logical that I would also love loganberries. A cross between two of my favourites is perfection to me! Make sure to choose a sunny location and give them a trellis to keep them off the ground. Enjoy them as a snack or in jams and pies.
Loganberries are a thornless cross between blackberries and raspberries. If you’ve never tried them you’re in for a real treat!
Each large, elgonated berry is packed with fruity flavour! Like raspberries they need a bit of support as they produce their long-trailing canes. Give them room to grow, provide a sunny location and prune annually for best berry production. Self-polinating.
