Muscari 'Grape Ice' is one of Wendy's Faves this season...this is what she has to say:
'Grape Ice' is a fresh new twist, on a classic favourite. Every spring I wait, impatiently, for the Muscari to reveal themselves. They are such faithful flowers, blooming and adding to their numbers each and every year. I love the 2-tone colouring of this new variety and you will too.
Grape Ice looks like a purple popsicle topped with whipped cream. These delightful flowers will be a treat in any garden!
Commonly known as Grape Hyacinth, Muscari provide a wealth of blooms and are very easy to grow. Short spikes of blooms appear very early in the spring and their grass like leaves will appear in the fall. Try planting them in rock gardens, along borders, under trees or naturalized in short grass. For shorter flower bouquet arrangements, try adding a few Muscari: not only are they delightfully sweet smelling but they provide a nice accent to your traditional spring bouquet.
