This easy to grow perennial offers autumnal-coloured blooms - each one is unique! A winner of RHS ‘Award of Garden Merit’.
Helenium 'Sahin's Early' is a perennial sunflower that will produce many outstanding, richly coloured, dark orange-red flowers, that gently fade to yellow. Flowering from early until very late in the season means the butterflies will have a constant source of golden pollen, which they love! 'Sahin's Early Flowerer' is easily grown in dry to medium, sandy to gravelly, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade. It does best in full sun. We recommend removing spent flowers to encourage additional bloom. The powder of the dried disk flowers and leaves of this species have been used as snuff in the past, thus giving rise to the common name of sneezeweed.
